Trias AMA

It has been such an electric month for us. We can’t wait to reveal the curtain. Let’s begin the AMA now!

1 Our community is very interested in our partnership with Japanese partners. Can you provide us any updates?

On March 13th, we were pleased to announce that Mr. Shin Sai joined Tusima as Chief Strategist. He is the tech lead for financial innovation in NTT Docomo’s web3 sector. He had positions with a number of Japanese stablecoin-related businesses prior to NTT Docomo. We have been working with Mr. Shin Sai for a very long period. During that time, he assisted us in doing many business developments for Tusima and other Trias eco-projects in Japan. Next, Mr. Shin Sai will push further our collaboration with Japanese companies and government sectors. We will also arrange an AMA with Mr. Shin Sai soon to interact with the community.

We have been expanding our overseas team since late last year, and we have onboarded many core members like Mr. Shin Sai, whom we will introduce to you one by one. And we have been putting a lot of effort into facilitating collaboration with our Japanese partners; we will let you know as soon as we have any news available to the public.

Also, I’ve seen some users ask about working with Passpay. It is a promising startup that provides on-chain financial services based on the Japanese Yen stablecoin. We’ve been engaging with them for a while. As you can see Kitano is also deeply involved in the partnership with Passpay. Passpay’s stablecoin smart contract served as the foundation for the second edition of the Tusima testnet. We are collaborating with them on the third version, a separate testnet to operate independently in Japan and focus on the Yen stablecoin and other related applications. Along with Passpay, we will carry out specialized development and debugging to make it more mature for more big firms in Japan to join the testnet with nodes. I’m very much looking forward to significant progress in Q2.

2 You said in the previous AMA that we will begin to reach out to CMC to fix the statistics. Is there any new information?

The CMC issue was also mentioned in the previous AMA. We began communicating with the CMC a while ago and are making some required adjustments step-by-step. In fact, replacing the contract and swapping tokens are troublesome tasks. We want to make sure it goes smoothly.

On the other hand, TRIAS will be the native token for Leviatom. And with the launching of its testnet in Q2, we will start testing its stability and performance. We will start the contract upgrading and token mapping when the testnet is matured. Through this mapping, we expect to simultaneously address historical issues such as data errors and cross-chain bridges.

In the future, TRIAS will serve as the primary token for Leviatom for gas fees and staking purposes and the governance token for most other eco-projects, as they will run on top of Leviatom. The tokenomics of Trias will hence include two parts, one serving as the ecosystem governance token and the other as the token of Leviatom. We are working on the tokenomics with these two aspects, and more detailed tokenomics will be released at the end of Q2.

3 When do you plan to list TRIAS on other exchanges?

As mentioned above, we will roll out the TRIAS token mapping and update its tokenomics, so we won’t plan to list it for now. Our current focus is to gradually list other eco-projects. We have already started communicating with exchanges and have made good progress. As most of these eco-projects will be running on Leviatom, their mainnets will require TRIAS for gas and staking. I believe their listings will significantly boost TRIAS token’s utilities. Afterwards, when Leviatom’s testnet and the token mapping go well, we will start planning for listing TRIAS.

As the eco-projects progress towards being listed on the exchange, we will launch a full-range promotion campaign before listing. We hope everyone can help promote and build momentum together.

4 The community requests increased participation, especially Telegram discussions, and expects that you will be more active on social media. What do you think of this?

Trias operates differently from other projects. In my previous AMA, I said that I had started to focus on developing our products and technology since last year, and I will dedicate more effort to interacting with our joint labs and other academic, technical and business partners. When our products are delivered, and eco-projects start to get listed, I will undoubtedly spend more time on marketing and with our community.

5 Question regarding Friday feature release and no developer can immediately respond on weekends.

I have forwarded this issue to my colleagues, who are coordinating to solve it. We appreciate your suggestion, and we welcome the community to provide more suggestions like this in the future.

6 Some users pointed out that token governance and staking were not on the 2023 roadmap. What do you think about this?

Our updated roadmap is primarily centred around developing critical technologies and product features. Our top priority is to ensure seamless implementation and utilization of the core technology. While governance and staking features will be rolled out progressively alongside the fundamental functionalities, they will not be explicitly highlighted on the roadmap. We encourage the community to concentrate on offering feedback and proposals regarding the technical and product aspects.
