Though the breakthroughs in the fundamental technology of blockchain have been made by foreign countries so far, China has opened the door to the further development of the blockchain technology.
Wider racing tracks will undoubtedly available for advances of future blockchain projects. On the road to building the infrastructure through decentralization computing, the strong technological strength of Trias has been unanimously accepted by many media and evaluation organizations and one key factor that results in the acceptance is the cooperation of Trias with scientific research teams of universities.
Trias and scientific research teams of University of Oxford
The connection between Trias and University of Oxford started nine years ago because the founder and CEO of Trias Ruan Anbang is a graduate with a doctoral degree from University of Oxford.
In 2010, Ruan Anbang was admitted into University of Oxford as a doctoral candidate. Ruan Anbang focused on the trusted computing research during his whole study period as a doctoral candidate. He started to research the trusted execution of cloud computing when he studied at University of Oxford, including trusted computing, trusted cloud platforms, cloud computing security, virtualization platforms, etc. and published many relevant papers.
After the Trias Project was established, Ruan Anbang went back to University of Oxford and visited his respected teacher Professor Andrew Martin. He conducted exchange with Professor Andrew Martin on trusted computing of Trias, blockchain, etc. and he described in detail the technological development of Trias, the implementation, etc.
Professor Andrew Martin is Director of the Centre for Doctoral Training in Cyber Security and an expert of the International Standard Team for Trusted Computing. He has initiated multiple international academic meetings on trusted computing. He approves the blockchain research of Trias very much and he hopes to carry out some joint scientific research project with Trias.
Since 2019, the two parties have jointly trained several doctoral candidates in the research direction of “trusted computing + blockchain”. Meanwhile, Professor Andrew Martin will join the Trias team and serve as the chief academic adviser.
Professor Andrew Martin does researches and teaches students in the system security field. He plays a leading role in the cyber security research aspect of University of Oxford. The EPSRC/GCHQ Cyber Security Research Centre headed by Professor Andrew Martin enjoys a very high reputation in the industry.
Trias and Peking University
CEO of Trias Ruan Anbang was awarded a computer master degree by Peking University before he was admitted into University of Oxford as a doctoral candidate. CTO of Trias was awarded a master degree and a doctoral degree by Peking University. Senior researcher and developer Yin Chaoming used to be a master candidate at Peking University. In addition, several software engineers and trainees study at Peking University.
Now the School of Software and Microelectronics of Peking University-Trias Collaborative Innovation Laboratory and Trias have jointly held over 16 Academic Salons. Besides the technicians of Trias, the salon participants include Director of the Network Software and System Security Department Professor Shen Qingni, Professor Yang Yahui and Deputy Professor Fang Yuejian from the School of Software and Microelectronics of Peking University, and many doctoral degree candidates.
The salon themes are different from each other. The contents from the technological application and practice of Trias to other blockchain project and technology development situations, and the researches and discussions focusing on the summit papers are all the key objects of the discussions at the salons.
For example, the core developer Wang Jiashuai used to describe and demonstrate the gossip algorithm of Trias in front of some teachers and students of Peking University, they analyzed and discussed some detailed problems about it and then they gave their potential optimization suggestions. The problems were “How to maintain the efficiency while the data reliability is ensured?” “Is the gossip convergent during the broadcasting?” “When does each node stop?” and some other problems, and they found practical and effective solutions in their follow-up discussions.
Besides proposing the problems, the School of Software and Microelectronics of Peking University-Trias Collaborative Innovation Laboratory provides practical technological support for solving the actually existing problems. Of course, the main development work is still done by the Trias team. According to the actual problems, the School of Software and Microelectronics of Peking University prepares some demos to demonstrate various effects and it can effectively solve some difficult problems.
Trias has always been connected with the domestic and foreign cutting-edge scientific researches and technologies since its establishment. At present, the Trias team has developed cooperation relationships with over 10 customers from the bank field, the securities field, the government affairs field, the education field and the medical treatment field. In November 2018, the Trias team developed the “Electronic Contract Blockchain Proof Storage” Project for Soochow Securities Co., Ltd. and the project helped Soochow Securities Co., Ltd. standardize the electronic contract blockchain proof storage and proof output services and make them credible.
Meanwhile, all the local governments have paid high attention to and approved the technological strength of Trias.

According to the opinion of Ruan Anbang, the industrial internet has become the general trend, the security protection of the data uploaded online by traditional enterprises of various industries is just the space in which Trias can be applied, and “Trias can provide trusted data infrastructure for the industrial internet of the whole industry.”
