1.Subjet: TRY NEW ETHEREUM
TRY Blockchain Global Hackathon Series
1st Station: Oxford University
Oct.9 pm 5:30
2. Hackathon topic: Using TEE & layer “-1” to Optimize Ethereum
The TRY Blockchain Global Hackathon Series is a first-of-it’s-kind event in the world as it brings together all the top projects, communities, issues and developers. Its first Hackathon will be launched at the Univerisity of Oxford, the world-leading center of research and innovations.
The 1st Hackathon: TRY New Etherum pays tribute to Etherum 2.0 and its progress in scalability. We believe The “-1” Layer Network developed by Trias Lab may solve some challenges faced by Ethereum, therefore wecall for anyone who can implement the concepts to combine the “-1” Layer Network, TEE and Ethereum to solve the scale problems.
If you are interested in smart contracts and encrypted computing, this Hackathon is the event that you don’t want to miss! Whether you are a tech-enthusiast, a developer, a student or a startup team, you will find yourself building fun stuff by using the “-1” Layer Network. Professors from the world’s top universities, founders of the top projects and opinion leaders will be the judges. Winners in each Hackathon will be invited to demonstrate their technical power and compete for the final award.
3. About TEE & layer-1
TEE (Trusted Execution Environment) is a technology that guarantees computations to be not interfered with by the hosting operating system. It is a separated execution environment running in parallel with Rich OS, providing security services for the Rich OS environment. Applications in TEE access hardware and software resources independently from the Rich OS and all the other applications. TEE currently includes Intel SGX, Intel TXT, TPM, ARM Trustzone.
The Layer “-1” Network is an all-platform-supported native-application-compatible smart contract execution platform, development framework and collaborating ecosystem built in Trias. Leviatom, one of Trias’s three subsystems, integrates Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) and Graph algorithms to achieve the correct execution of general-purpose software. Leviatom implements a Heterogeneous Consensus Graph (HCGraph) algorithm, which combines heterogeneous TEE technologies and graph computing algorithms.
