On the 22nd of March, we invited three community representatives to hold a community Q&A on the topic of “Delve deeper into the Mainnet and the Ecological economy”.

If you missed it and want to catch the highlights, here is the full story of the period.

1-Since the MainNet will be launching soon, why are we also planning to migrate ERC-20 to Polygon? Why do we need to do both of these things?

As announced last week, the move to MainNet will be done in 4 phases, over the span of a year. Each of these phases will include a specific amount of tokens that can be migrated. Accordingly, we want to ensure that we faciliate trading for those users who are holding TRIAS on ERC-20, and do not migrate in the early rounds.

We are well aware that there has been justified discouragement amongst our ERC holders due to difficulty in finding avenues to trade their tokens, so we want to avoid people being locked from transacting to the best of our abilities, as it is their right. As such, the move to Polygon will allow us to achieve this, as we’re already in the process of opening Polygon deposits with our exchange partners.

2-How will the token migration work considering the limited capacity per phase? Will it be first come first served? Will there be ERC and BSC allocations?

While more details on the specifics will be shared closer to the time of migration, the overall answer is “Yes”, the migration to mainnet will be first come first served. Obviously, we will be providing specifics in due time (exact date, time, steps to follow and other details) so that nobody is caught by surprise.

We are also likely to have separate allocations dedicated to ERC and BSC, and this will be done to ensure as smooth a transition as possible.

3-Can you please elaborate on the approach / decision of migration in phases rather than in a single phase?

Trias is built as level -1, which is an ongoing process, because its “trusted computing” capability needs to be tested in conjunction with different chains. The full, 100% launch of the MainNet will only be live once we have completed integration testing with mainstream chains on the market. Accordingly, the progress of the Trias ecosystem will be released in stages and a timetable for the subsequent capabilities has been established.

This phased approach to migration will allow us to better cater to the needs of our commuity, as it lets us effectively balance collaborations, interdependence with our other ecosystems as they migrate gradually to the mainnet, and will facilitate healthy development of the ecosystem.

4-What must we do to migrate to MainNet? What are the steps?

The migration process will take place on a new MainNet page on the TRIAS website. While I can’t tell you what the exact steps are right at this moment, rest assured that it will be incredibly simple, and very straightforward instructions will be provided there.

We want to avoid any complication and ensure that the transition will be as seamless as possible.

5-What is “TAS ‘’ as gas fee in TSC Explorer (TscScan)? Is it a new token? Is TRIAS going to be the gas token for the Mainnet?

TSCScan, which stands for Trust Smart Chain scan, is our mainnet explorer. It has been operational for some time now. In the current stage of planning, $TAS will serve as its gas token, supporting the network’s operations and ecosystem development.

We will provide a detailed explanation regarding TAS, including its utility and role within the ecosystem. For now and while we wait for those details to be given, we want to give you peace of mind and ensure you that the only way to obtain $TAS is via having $TRIAS. $TAS can be earned by staking your $TRIAS and will be paired exclusively with $TRIAS.

6-Will KuCoin support the migration to MainNet (deposits, trading, withdrawals), considering we still have the ST tag? What does this entail? What about the other exchanges? I wouldn’t like to migrate and not have a way to trade.

We want to be as transparent as possible here, considering the recent history with KuCoin that you’re all well aware of. Frankly, the complications we’ve faced with KuCoin to date are not a blocker whatsoever in terms of collaborating for the MainNet launch. In fact, the migration to MainNet may help us solve some of the concerns that have led to the current unpleasant scenario we find ourselves in with the TRIAS listing on KuCoin.

We spoke to the KuCoin team this past monday to present the progress of the MainNet and evaluate our collaboration. We have reached preliminary agreements on what this would look like. As soon as there is more news, it will be announced. I also want to say that in the Web3 world, we always maintain an open and cooperative attitude, and will gradually cooperate with other exchange partners. When we say “The MainNet is ready but launch is dependent on some agreements with third parties”, these collaborations are what we’re referring to.

7-Will Octa’s existing clients (TriasForce) move to the new MainNet? Please give us some details.

The short answer is “Yes”.

As the MainNet ecosystem matures, we will slowly and gradually expand it and introduce more high-quality project teams to develop there. Especially those partners with whom we have previously reached strategic cooperation agreements. The move to MainNet is a milestone which positively impacts a wide range of parties, and we’re excited to see it happen!

8-When and how will the community be able to run consensus or synchronisation nodes?

Mainnet nodes will be deployed in a distributed manner. Upon launched, there will be 9 consensus nodes and 2 synchronisation nodes online.

Consensus nodes will reserve 1–2 slots for partner exchanges once the MainNet is live, and the node election function will be opened in the future; community users will also also be able to pledge to become consensus nodes.

Synchronous nodes will also be open for application when the MainNet is live, and any user can apply to become a consensus node.

9-What are the plans when it comes to opening up GitHub and Developer programs on TRIAS MainNet?

We plan to launch according to the following three phases:

Phase 1: Preparation
- Open Github: Open the core codebase and development tools of NetX mainnet within two weeks.
- Release technical documents: Release technical documents and guides one after another to understand the technical architecture and development process of NetX.

Phase II: Application Phase
- Developer program launch: apply for joining the developer program.
- Application Review: Select appropriate developers to join and get access to the test network and resources.

Phase III: Development and Deployment
- Development and Testing: Build and test the application with resources.
- Technical Support: Obtain technical support and guidance.
- Application Deployment: Submit applications and smart contracts to the main network and upgrade the test network.

10-Will the NetX whitepaper be released this month?

Yes! If all goes well, the plan is to release a community version of the NetX whitepaper at the end of the month.

We are now in the final proofreading stage, and minor adjustments are being made. We have also arranged for the UI department to design an “easy-to-read” design for the whitepaper; as it is quite techincal we want to make sure it is as “user-friendly” as possible in terms of readability and comprehension. Once everything is confirmed, we will release it immediately.

11-How does NetX token benefit Trias holders? Can you please elaborate on the key use cases and differences between the two? Would $NetX be like $GROW is to Triathon?

Firstly, we would like to mention that the name of the NetX token has not yet been determined. $NETX is only a placeholder name.

The Trias token and the NetX token carry different rights within the ecosystem.

From a “conceptual standpoint”, Trias serves as the foundational infrastructure at Layer-1, assumes the role of “trust.” On the newly updated official website of Trias, there’s an introduction to “trusted finance,” showcasing how Trias provides secure and stable infrastructure for all RWAs through trusted node validation, cloud computing, AI security audits, and other means atop the Trias trusted network system.

This was also mentioned in last June’s community Q&A session, where the $TRIAS token was described as serving the function of “proof of trust.” Through the HCGraph algorithm, nodes staking more TRIAS will receive more verifications from already validated nodes (iterated verifications by other nodes). The more verifications a node receives, the more it gains.

Alternatively, the NetX token, which we anticipate launching in Q2, will primarily be a governance token, allowing users to vote on key decisions that help determine the future direction of the platform.

More practically speaking, some of the perks of holding these coins on the MainNet are below (these will be fleshed out and explained in more detail closer to the launch):

$TRIAS token
- stake to earn $NetX and other ecosystem tokens
- exclusive pairing with $TAS, the MainNet’s GAS token
- pledge as consensus and synchronus nodes to earn $TAS
- preferred trading terms for other ecosystem tokens (lower fees, earlier pairing listings)
- regularly receive airdops of ecosystem tokens upon launch

$NETX token
- pledge as “votes” on proposals that impact important decisions

12-Will there be marketing pushes for each of the 7 ecosystems?

Without a doubt, yes. As we enter this new phase in the TRIAS ecosystem lifespan, many ideas that were previous conceptual will now become functional. Accordingly, we’re approaching the stage where we can confidently advertise a working product, so expect to see a significant push on the maketing side of things.

While our ecosystems are intertwined, they also each have their own vision, purpose and goals. Acccordingly, there will be individual marketing efforts made for each of them, and the timing of these efforts will be in line with our scheduled migration of each ecosystem.

13. There have been hints of some significant partnerships that are in the works (NTT Docomo, PayPay in Japan for Tusima, rumors of links to Huawei, big Chinese / Japanese banks). Now that we’re moving to MainNet, when can we expect to hear some of these partnership announcements and what they entail?

Due to NDAs and commercial terms that have been agreed upon with some of our partners, we’re still at a stage where we cannot make specific announcements publicly in regards to these collaborations. With the MainNet progressing / maturing, more partners will be announced; there are already some partners we’re collaborating with on the product level!

We are equally as frustrated as you that we cannot share more specifics when it comes to these partnerships, but we urge you to please stay tuned for exciting announcements on this front in April and beyond.

At the end, we would like share some news and plan for Triathon!
