TLDR:

  • What will happen to the overhyped NFT collectibles? Few people know.
  • Triathon NFTs are not only testing tools but technical assets in the real world.

We’ve seen many NFT headline stories. For example, digital artist Beeple sold his collage, an NFT collection for $69 million at an auction at Christie’s.

Similar to Beeple’s collage, many artworks come under the spotlight and immediately stand in the prime of life. Then what’s next? Few people know about it.

Triathon NFT auction

Last Tuesday, Triathon NFT market opened for auction. In its debut, it achieved 4,784 TRIAS (=$63,000) auction sales in total. And the highest hammer price was 500 $TRIAS for 1 ship.

This is a start. We will do more in the future. As mentioned in our previous post, Triathon Metaverse is two-way communication between the real world and the game world. How to achieve two-way communication? We have Triathon NFTs. They have inherent business logic and value and not just collectibles. They are testing tools and are used to promote battle moves in the game world. Users can stake NFTs for weapons against other spaceships. They can even combine different D-role NFTs for more powerful weapons. Once they won the battle, they will receive rewards.

While NFTs are not only testing tools in the game world but technical assets in the real world. We’ve been talking about the Triathon wind tunnel test which involves many aspects. For example, we build Destroyer and apply it to initiate attacks on testing chains and smart contracts. And there are six aspects: Transaction Attacker, Contract Attacker, Chain Attacker, Host Attacker, Physical Attacker and Network Attacker. And these six aspects cover the main types of technical assets of the chain. Through testing, we can check whether the testing targets are powerful enough. Therefore, all battle moves happened in the game world are testing behaviors in the real world. And NFTs are the code to initiate the testing.

Just like one of our latest AMA questions: Can you explain in simple words how the NFTs will work during the battlegrounds? And the answer is to Imagine that you cast a spell with a magic stick in a magic world and generate an impact on your reality. Your NFTs can do that, too.
